This motherhood thing is hard.
My name is Amie and I’m a bit of a Jill-of-all-Trades as my grandmother would say. I have two awesome boys that I’m raising as a less-than-covert feminist in a very conservative West Texas town.
I write for the other mamas out there who are joining me in this difficult journey. My goal is to help my sisters to love their little ones, loves themselves, and love their world. Or maybe just survive until bedtime.
I believe in the value of the family, and that it comes in all shapes, sizes, and configurations. I believe in living a life that’s respectful and loving to all persons and to this amazing planet we live on. Most of all, I believe that God has called us to a life of joy and freedom despite the troubles of this world.
This blog is for the mamas (and the papas) whether your children are biological, adopted, spiritual, or furry. If you want to live a life of freedom, love, and respect. This is the place for you.
