Sugar Detox Day Two Recap

I’ve heard that day two is the hardest. Let me just say, that was definetely true for me!

Sugar Detox Day Two Recap

Yesterday I woke up grumpy, but I went for my jog and felt better. Well, then the kids were crazy as I was trying to get them ready. (Turns out they both had double ear infections.) By the time we got to the car I was in a terrible mood! I felt like complete crap. All morning yesterday I just felt tired and cranky and just plain no good. By yesterday afternoon I was feeling a bit better (I think the tea helped). Then I got called to pick up the boys from daycare. I took them to the doctor which was a wonderful two hours with cranky, miserable children. We picked up Little Panda for the husband and the kids and after they got off to bed, I grabbed Rosa’s and ate while waiting at the pharmacy. I was pretty tired by the end of the day. Here’s what yesterday ended up looking like:

Morning Workout: Jog/Walk 1.1 miles

Breakfast:

Scrambled Eggs, Grape Tomatoes, One Slice Mesquite Turkey

I was hoping to be out in the field more yesterday morning so I tried having a bigger breakfast, and I went with tomatoes that I knew I would like.

Morning Snack at work: peanuts and Yogi Energy Green tea.

Lunch:

Lunch was a repeat of last night's dinner, but with more chicken. :) My hubby makes some yummy chicken!

To make lunch easy, I just repeated the dinner from the night before. Everything was already cooked! I got an unsweet tea from Sonic on my way back to work.

Dinner:

Dinner from Rosa's Cafe: Beef Fajita Plate, no rice, no condiments, no tortillas.

We were supposed to have tacos for dinner, but we got out of the doctor’s office so late that we just picked up food for the boys and I picked this up on my way to the pharmacy. I’m not big on peppers, but it was still quite tasty.
