Alright my lovelies! I did it! I made it one whole day without any sugar!
It was actually much easier than I had thought. I had a pretty rough headache for most of the day and I was pretty tired and just plain could not concentrate, but I don’t think I was all that grumpy and I actually feel pretty good. I only really had two minor cravings, but they passed; and I always felt satisfied after my meals. Here’s how the day unfolded for me:
Morning workout (body weight legs, crunches, weighted arms)
I ended up learning that I hate green tomatoes. Seriously, they are so gross! So, I just ate the eggs. Plus some green tea.
Morning Snack at work: peanuts and Yogi Energy Green tea.
We went to Jason’s Deli and I really enjoyed my salad. I also got unsweet tea with lemon. I got a second cup on my way out to help keep me going for the afternoon.
Afternoon snack: Pumpkin seeds and more peanuts.
While cooking dinner I ate about a tablespoon of peanut butter. The chicken for dinner was extra that the hubby made me last night so I’d have easy to grab protein over the next couple of days.
I was planning on a jog tonight, but I think I might just get a nice yoga sequence in before bed.
